Pixel Album is a book of nonogram puzzles. Each grid hides a small pixel picture. Paint the cells the numbers ask for, and when the grid is done the picture appears in color and goes into its album. If something isn't working, or you have a question, write to us.

How do I play?
- The numbers next to each row and above each column are the lengths of the painted blocks in that line, in order. "3 1" means a block of 3, at least one empty cell, then a block of 1.
- Tap a cell to paint it. Drag to paint a straight line.
- Switch to ✕ to mark cells you know are empty. You don't have to mark them all to finish.
- On big grids, pinch to zoom and move around with two fingers. The numbers stay at the edges of the screen.
- Numbers turn gray when their block is done.
Do I ever have to guess?
No. Every puzzle in the app has exactly one solution, and you can reach it by looking at one row or column at a time. We check every picture with a solver that uses only that kind of reasoning before it goes into the app.
How do hints work?
A hint finds a row or column where you can make a sure step, highlights it and explains why, for example "The 8-block in a 10-cell row must cover the middle 6 cells." Tap Show Me to fill those cells. If one of your marks is wrong, the hint points to it first. You get 3 hints a day for free, 10 a day if you own any album, and unlimited hints with All Albums.
What are Show mistakes and 3 lives?
Show mistakes (on by default) tints any row or column that has a wrong mark. 3 lives is an optional challenge: a wrong cell is caught right away and costs a life. Both are in Settings.
What is the Daily Picture?
A new picture every day, free for everyone. Solve it on the day to grow your streak. The next one appears at midnight in your time zone.
What is Endless?
Puzzles made on your phone for when you just want to play. They end in an abstract pattern instead of a picture. Free: five 10×10 puzzles a day. Any album adds 15×15 and 20×20 and raises the limit to 15 a day. All Albums makes Endless unlimited.
How do I add the widgets?
Home Screen: touch and hold an empty spot, tap Edit, then Add Widget, search for Pixel Album and choose Daily Picture or Latest Picture.
Lock Screen: touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, then Lock Screen, tap the widget area and choose Pixel Album to see your streak.
What can I buy?
The Starter album (30 pictures), the Daily Picture and some Endless play are free. Animals, Ocean, Food and Space are $2.99 each. All Albums is $19.99 once and includes every album we add later. Everything is a one-time purchase that works with Family Sharing. There are no ads and no subscription.
How do I restore purchases?
Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the Apple Account you used to buy them.
Will my progress move to a new iPhone?
Progress is stored on your iPhone and comes along when you restore a device backup. Syncing between devices through iCloud is planned for a later update.
