Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 30, 2026
Dough Clock ("the app") is developed by Vlad Shchuka ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.
What we collect
Nothing. We don't run any servers. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking, and it contains no third-party tools that collect data. In the App Store privacy label, Dough Clock is listed as Data Not Collected.
Data stored on your device
Your formulas, bake plans, starter logs, journal entries and settings are saved on your iPhone. The bake in progress and your settings sit in storage shared between the app and its widget (an App Group). We never receive any of it. Deleting the app deletes it.
Photos and camera
You can add photos of your bread and your starter jar. If you choose one from your library, the app receives only the photo you pick. If you take one, iOS asks for camera access first. The app keeps a smaller copy on your device. Photos are never uploaded or shared by the app.
Notifications and Live Activities
Dough Clock uses local notifications to tell you about folds, the end of a step and starter feedings. Live Activities show the current step on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. All of this is scheduled and shown by your device. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.
Sharing a formula
If you export a formula, the app hands the text or PDF to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes after that is up to you and the app you pick.
Purchases
Dough Clock Pro is sold by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. The app only asks Apple whether your Apple Account owns Pro.
Children
The app is not directed at children, and it collects no personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
