Guesstival has two games. In Forehead, you hold the phone on your forehead while your friends describe the word, and you tilt the phone to answer. In Explain It, teams take turns describing words to each other against the clock. If something isn't working, or you have a question, write to us.

How do I play Forehead?
- Pick one or more word packs and a round length (30, 60 or 90 seconds).
- Hold the phone sideways on your forehead with the screen facing your friends. The countdown starts by itself.
- Friends give clues, act or make sounds. Nobody says the word.
- Guessed it? Tilt the phone down. Want to skip? Tilt it up.
The tilt reacts too early or too late
Open Settings and tap Calibrate tilt. Hold the phone on your forehead the way you normally would, and the game will measure tilts from that position. You can also change Tilt sensitivity: High needs a smaller tilt, Low needs a bigger one. If tilting isn't comfortable, switch Controls to Tap and use the on-screen buttons instead.
How do I play Explain It?
Make 2 to 6 teams. On your team's turn, one player explains words to the rest of the team without saying them. Swipe right when they guess it (+1 point) and left to skip (−1 point, or 0 if you turn that rule off). When time runs out, you can still award the last word. After every team has had the same number of turns, the first team at the target score wins.
Why don't I see repeated words?
Words don't come back until you've played every word in a pack on this iPhone. After that, the pack starts over in a new order.
What's free, and what costs money?
Both games and three packs (Animals, Everyday Things and Actions) are free. Every other pack is a one-time purchase of $1.99. All Packs is $9.99 once and includes every pack we add in future updates. There are no subscriptions and no ads. Prices may vary by country. Purchases work with Family Sharing.
How do I restore my purchases?
Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases (it's also on every pack's purchase screen). Make sure you're signed in with the Apple Account you used to buy.
No sound?
Check the Ring/Silent switch or Action button and the volume. Guesstival follows silent mode so it doesn't interrupt music. You can also check that Sounds is on in Settings.
Does the app need an internet connection?
No. Everything works offline. The app only goes online to show prices, buy packs and restore purchases.
