Privacy Policy

Guesstival (“the app”) is developed by Vladyslav Shchuka (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.
We don't collect your data
The app does not collect any personal information, and we have no servers that receive it. We don't sell or share data with anyone. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
Data stored on your device
Your settings (sounds, haptics, tilt sensitivity and calibration), team names, selected packs and the list of words you've already played are stored only on your iPhone. They never leave your device through us. Deleting the app deletes them.
Motion sensors
In Forehead mode the app reads the iPhone's motion sensors to notice when you tilt the phone. These readings are used instantly on your device to count answers and are never stored or sent anywhere.
Camera and microphone (reaction videos)
The Record reactions setting is off until you turn it on. When it's on, the front camera and microphone record a clip during a Forehead or Act It Out round, so you can watch your friends afterwards. The clip is saved only in a temporary folder inside the app on your iPhone, and the app deletes it when the next round starts or when you close the game. The app never uploads your clips, and we never receive or analyze them. A clip leaves your iPhone only if you share it or save it to Photos yourself. You can turn off camera and microphone access at any time in the iPhone Settings app.
Photos
If you choose Save Video, iOS asks for permission to add the clip to your photo library. The permission is add-only: the app can save a video there but can't see or read your photos.
Purchases
Packs are sold through Apple's App Store. We never see your payment details. The app only asks Apple which packs your Apple Account owns, so it can unlock them.
Network
The games work offline. The app goes online only to load prices, buy packs and restore purchases through the App Store.
Children
The app is rated 4+ and suitable for all ages. It doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
