Privacy Policy

Pitchline ("the app") is developed by Vlad Shchuka ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.

What we collect

Nothing. We don't run any servers. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking, and it contains no third-party tools that collect data. In the App Store privacy label, Pitchline is listed as Data Not Collected.

Microphone

The tuner uses the microphone to find the pitch of the sound you play. The audio is analyzed on your iPhone, in memory, while the tuner is open. It is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere, and we never receive it.

Settings stored on your device

Your choices, such as instrument, tuning, A4 calibration, note names, metronome settings, theme and custom tunings, are saved locally on your iPhone. We don't receive them. Deleting the app deletes them.

Purchases

Pitchline Pro is sold by Apple through the App Store (StoreKit). We never see your payment details. The app only asks Apple whether your Apple Account owns Pro.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
