Softer Ring

Privacy Policy

Softer Ring ("the app") is developed by Vlad Shchuka ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.

What we collect

Nothing. We don't run any servers. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking, and it contains no third-party tools that collect data. In the App Store privacy label, Softer Ring is listed as Data Not Collected.

Data stored on your device

Your pitch matches, sound settings, imported audio files and diary entries are saved only on your iPhone. We never receive them. A PDF you export from the diary goes only where you choose to share it. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Apple Health

If you choose to connect Apple Health in Settings, the app reads Headphone Audio Exposure to show your weekly headphone levels. It only reads this one type of data, never writes to Health, and never sends Health data anywhere. You can turn access off at any time in the Health app. Health data is not used for advertising or shared with anyone.

Notifications

If you turn on the diary reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to a server.

Purchases

Softer Ring Plus is sold by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. The app only asks Apple whether your Apple Account has Plus.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
