Terms of Use

These terms apply to Softer Ring: Tinnitus Sounds ("the app") by Vlad Shchuka. By using the app you agree to them and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies.
Not medical advice
Softer Ring plays sounds for comfort, relaxation and sleep. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Pitch matching is an approximate self-test, not a hearing test. Talk to a doctor or audiologist about your hearing, and get care right away if your hearing drops suddenly.
Use at a safe volume
Keep sounds at a comfortable, low level. Stop and lower the volume if a sound feels loud, causes discomfort or makes your ringing worse.
The app
You may use the app for personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control. The design, sounds, text and code belong to us. Please don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app. You are responsible for having the rights to audio files you import.
Softer Ring Plus
Plus is offered as an auto-renewable subscription (monthly, or yearly with a 7-day free trial) or as a one-time Lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in iPhone Settings, your name, Subscriptions. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Lifetime is a non-consumable purchase and doesn't renew.
- Payments, refunds and restores are handled by Apple under its terms. Use Settings, Restore Purchases in the app to restore Plus on a new device.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or incidental damages from using the app.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version.
